Clinical massage targets specific problem areas to release tension in the musculature (i.e., shoulder tension or low back pain). Clinical massage is also a great addition to chiropractic adjustments with many clients seeing longer lasting relief after receiving massage directly prior to their adjustment.

Relaxation massage focuses on overall stress and tension relief. Relaxation massage uses Swedish massage techniques and longer flowing strokes to help the client’s mind and body fully relax. If clients are seeking deep tissue/pressure, consider booking clinical or deep tissue massage.

Deep tissue massage works on deeper layers of muscle tissue to release tension and trigger points. It often involves deeper pressure and held trigger points to provide relief. While deep tissue massage can be relaxing, relaxation is not the ultimate goal of the session.

Prenatal massage is offered to pregnant clients at any stage in their pregnancy. While many clients wait until they are beyond 12 weeks in their pregnancy, clients are welcome to receive massage at any stage. Other medical conditions involved in pregnancy should be cleared by the client’s doctor prior to receiving massage.
